👥 11 volunteers. 🗓️ 2 days. ❤️ 700+ lives impacted.

11 volunteers from Unessa Foundation collaborated with Aasra Foundation and Inamdar Foundation for a 2-day awareness campaign in rural areas named Project Leher.

Together, we educated 200+ women on menstrual hygiene, dos & don’ts, and challenged long-standing myths and taboos.

We also reached 500+ rural students, creating awareness on good touch and bad touch to strengthen their safety and understanding.

A meaningful collaboration, real conversations, and measurable impact—working together to drive change where it matters most.

This week, our senior students stepped out of the classroom and into the real world as we took them on a field trip to the Vadodara Railway Station 🚆✨

Instead of just telling them how trains work, we showed them everything hands-on —

1. How to find train
2. Find platform numbers
3. Spotting train compartments
4. Understanding ticket details
5. How to buy tickets from the counter
6. Buying tickets from the ticket machine

After the demo, it was their turn.
And omg, watching them confidently navigate the station on their own? Literal proud-teacher moment 🫶

This week, we had a Life Skills session for our students aged 8–14 years where we taught them how to deal with emergencies, handle cuts and bruises, manage fever, and give basic first aid.

Learning these skills at a young age isn’t just helpful — it can genuinely save lives. We didn’t keep the session theoretical; instead, we walked them through real demonstrations of how first aid is actually done.

These small lessons build confidence, independence, and long-term readiness. Proud of every step they’re taking.
